It all started in 1999, having spent several years working and travelling around Australia and the Caribbean it was time to come home and put the ideas into practise. An events catering company offering just about anything that a customer would require, desire or request.
A Marquee wedding in Disley for some very good friends got the ball rolling , after that we found the Deli in Hale village which we ran for 8 years. Food for Thought.
Although it was slightly off piste from the original plan it put The Herb and Spice Garden as we were known then firmly on the map for caterers in Cheshire and manchester.
At roughly the same time we were approached to cater for The Bowdon Rooms a little over a mile from the deli. This has been our base for the last 20 years. An iconic local venue that offers live music and food (by us) as well as weddings,parties and large dinners we have had some famous bands on stage here.
Some big contracts followed with blue chip companies and many of our local sports clubs. The concord conference centre, Uci cinemas and Manchester City football academy were no doubt the highlights.
The logo and colours have changed over the years and the name has been tweaked but essentially what has never changed is our passion for what we do. Twenty years from when we started Herb and Spice we still enjoy what we do.
